I am not a fan of these smart motorways, so dangerous to not have a place to stop in an emergency.

while it can be comical at times, my allergic rhinitis means I suffer from sneezing fits, they come with no warning and I like to pull the car over immediately as can be very dangerous.

The M4 works were suspended before christmas while the Transport Minister assesses how dangerous smart motorways are in the light of all the deaths, but the have never lifted the ban or moved any of the barriers they just left it. And its the same on all smart works across the system.They were 'trialing' the 60 MPH in works areas 2 years ago and we still don't have a final decision. all this work is actually being done (?) by civil servants.
