Just realised that no one has put up a thread about the passing of one of the UK's finest actors yesterday

Mainly restricted to supporting, though good, roles on film he was frequently the lead on stage and I can still (just) remember his superb performance as Richard III for the RSC in the 60's which was televised.

Great performance in ALIEN , still very creepy after all these years

He was great as Ash the nasty anfroid in the first Alien film.
