Yes, we don't win on the rare occasions we have more than 50%

Yeah I agree. I'm not overly fussed on us with the ball so much as we don't really know how to use it. Preston ain't up to much..famous last words..

Harris should have sorted that out at the water break!

Hoilett held on to the ball far too long then. They all seem to do it. Acres on the right...

Preston pressing....Morrison having a good game.

If they don’t change their studs at half time I’ll be shocked. They’re slipping everywhere and one mistake could cost us the game

Morrison has been MOM so far

Why do I get the feeling we're just waiting till 60th-70th minute to bring Tomlin and Glatzel on?

Preston are there to be beaten, we're playing the more defensive options.

    Bring him off for Tomlin

Bacuna’s doing fine, but I don’t think Joe Bennett has found his man with one pass attempt... I’m screaming at him here 🤣

Don’t think they need Bacuna today with Ralls and Vaulks. Someone in at 10 would open up the space

Why is our passing and ball retention so poor again?

Re: PRESTON NE v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread

Looks like 1 goal will win this one.

    Glatzel and Tomlin on please

This look to be a game in which Tomlin could do really well.

I wish we’d pick the tempo up a touch, if not for us but for the millions watching across the world.

F*ck me, Ridsdale looks like a heart attack waiting to happen.

What are we trying to do?

    I just don't get it.

And before all the usual happy clappers pipe up I'm asking as I just can't work it out, and I'm not being negative.

I just don't understand what we are doing in the final third.

Hard to believe the city - or PNE on this viewing, for that matter - are still in with a shout for promotion at this point in the season. We still feel like such a rag tag bunch of a team.

Looks to me like trying to balance being solid away from home with passing the ball.

Silly mistakes are giving the ball away.

That's what happens with no striker.

Need to stay tight until the inevitable substitutions, no idea of the calibration of Preston’s bench but I’d back ours against most in this division.
