Thread: Warnock at it again...

  1. #1

    Warnock at it again...

Boro 2 up at Stoke on 78 mins...getting interesting at the bottom with Barnsley, Luton and Hull sharing 2 wins and a draw.

Warnock was on to a good thing taking the last 8 games with Boro, nothing to lose and you wouldn't bet against him keeping them up

I bet that there is a massive bonus to lose if boro go down.

    It's hardly Rotherham is it.

Just needs to give already food players confidence and a boost over a few games, which he can do.

Not much of a risk for someone like Warnock imo.

Clubs will be cutting back, it will be perfect for him picking up the cheaper players and building team spirit. No pressure on promotion, perfect scenario.

I'd have him back. Showed at Blackburn that when he has the service, knows where the net is Better than Paterson.

    Really?

What is it about Rudy that makes you think he's better than Callum?

Is it his complete inability to play football or
His complete inability to head a ball in any intended direction or
Is it his goal return - 9 league goals in 4 years?

Boro fans are paying for his taxi to the airport and yet you slag off our number 13 who gives his effin all every game he plays for us and has got 21 goals in under 3 seasons and isn't even a centre forward

    Get a grip!

I appreciate Paterson's workrate but he's not a striker by a long way.

Glatzel is making the steps to become lead striker imo, needs to improve on the physical side.

I note you spectacularly ignore Gestede's form at Blackburn - 32 goals in 60 games. Blackburn played to his strengths, were crossing the ball into the penalty area early and often. Guess what? He was prolific when that happened.

I rate Glatzel higher but Gestede would be a useful option off the bench.

I must be honest i thought on paper he’d do OK here. But it seems since he left us he gradually got lazier and lazier.

If he had Patos work ethic I’d have him here. He would fit in with our play.

Thankfully, and he's miles away from our club now. I just hope we beat them on Saturday.
