I am certain we signed a centre forward from Exeter, in about the year 2000.

Young lad, we’ll built, six feet plus.

Think his first name was something like Justin/Julian.

Looked everywhere, but can find no record of him.

I certain his parents used to travel to every away game, lovely people

John Cornforth played for us 1999 ended up at Exeter the next season. Doubt if he's the one though.

What was confusing me, was the fact that he played against us, in the first away game of the season, when Sam Hammam came here.

Hammam, wanted to sign him, after his display against us, as he fitted in with Hammam’s style of play.

Obviously he never followed his interest up.
