Morrison defending that free kick for them then as he attempted to find our man

Marking it up as one of them days. Shame after the first 2 games back we've been too shit scared to capitalise on it.

Scrap that. Yet another striker coming on for Paterson has scored with little time on the pitch nice one Danny.

We got away with that one. Looked for all the world like another Charlton.
Harris must be braver with team selection. No room for Patterson and Tomlin needs to start (with Ward or Glatzel)

Thank **** for that. We were a shambles at the back after Bamba came on.

We sat back, they pushed forward, still on the break with more composure we could have done better.

Excellent win though, considering the break, lack of pre season the point total from the 4 games has exceeded my expectations.

Did Murphy actually come on? Saw him about to, but couldn't see him on the pitch?

Murphy didn't come on. Hoilett played for 10 more minutes after the Ward substitution, despite being out on his feet, until he was replaced by Bamba.

there's no need for him to be knackered when there are extra subs to throw on..fecking stupid imo

    Plan A worked again

I’m all for playing attacking, skilful players, but if you’ve got a system that’s working, DON’T CHANGE IT

Sorry but dont know what you were watching - defence was very good all game and Bamba did an excellent job when he came on of strengthening, blocking, heading clear and organising - just at a time when others legs were starting to go. Three clean sheets in four games says it all.

    Agree with you entirely!

The defence was solid throughout. Curtis Nelson won just about everything in the air, Bennett played with composure and his passing was the best I've seen from him (I've been a big critic of his in the past). Morrison wasn't quite so noticeable, that's probably down to his good positioning in the first place and making things look relatively easy.
I also like Sanderson, doesn't hide, takes responsibility and defends well... needs to work on his shooting a little though!

It's still better than Peltier's passing! Look how many times Sanderson was close to their penalty box.. he has the pace to back himself getting back to cover, whereas Peltier didn't.

    Phew, left that late!
Played some good stuff though, even if they did have arguably the best chance of the game.

5 wins out of last six away.
    Well done lads.

Did anyone else spot Tomlin signalling to come off after the goal? Thankfully he was joking.
