I would take any job going when I was younger and had some right stinkers but my mate once had a job at Havana Bakery taking the little stalks out of a huge pile of currants one by one. He lasted a morning.

I once worked at a drinks can recycling plant.
It was Soda Pressing
I used to have a job helping a one armed typist do Capital letters.

Good news about my mate who fell into the upholstery machine at work.

I lost my job at the bank on my very first day. A woman asked me to check her balance, so I pushed her over.
My mate worked in B&Q, he got sacked after he asked a customer if he wanted decking and punched him when he said yes
