What an absolute lovely man and a complete gentleman. Sadly living with MND, along with 2 other former sports pros in Former footballer Stephen Darby, and former rugby league player Rob Burrow, as well as countless others all over the world.
As a Scottish international, he was a right pain in the arse when we played them, and he has now been inducted into the Scottish rugby union hall of fame.
When this illness finally gets the better of him, the world will be a sadder place. Happy birthday big guy.
