I didn't have a ticket, so I had to settle for watching it at home.
As you said - what a try!

I watched that All Blacks side at Cardiff Arms Park, but it was their match against a few days after Llanelli had beaten them, it was was a punch up for much of the game and they ran away with it in the second half. I watched the Baa Baas game at home and could probably recite most of Cliff Morgan's commentary today - best rugby game I've ever seen.

    I don't think 16 - 19 was running away with anything.
And years later the blacks admitted they cheated by falling out of the line out on their own try line making the English Ref think they had been hit or pushed out and them getting a penalty which prevented what would have been a welsh try.
In fact no one had touched them and they staged it for the benefit of the one-eyed ref who had earlier denied JPR a try.
