    I was discussing this with some friends, he does a decent enough job but is a bit bland. My mate suggested getting an ex player as co commentator - they get a bit of media experience, the commentator gets someone to bounce off and we get to listen to Kav/Earnie/Superkev or someone's insights

    Very rare these days for someone to be on their own when commentating. A summariser would help enormously.

    By the sounds of it, he's parted company with the club in less than amicable terms, if the Cardiff City auction items were anything to go by.

    I miss Richard Shepherd and even Barrie McAuliffe on the commentary.

    Staple on a Saturday morning for me a good 10 years or so.

    The guy there now and his Co commentator is/are pretty terrible.
