Glatzel has to do better with his back to goal. It bounces off him, he needs to put his body between the ball and the defender and hold it up. All our strikers have major weaknesses, Glatzel's physicality, Ward similarly and Paterson on ability.

Guess that's why all 3 are with us ,decent strikers play for bigger clubs .

Well its the season for viruses and looks like people on here are trying to give the lad Madineitus. All our strikers tend to suffer the same slagging by our fans.Even in Malkys day Kenny Millar used to bemoan the lack of support yet came to us as a proven goalscorer and was slagged off by alot of fans.In my view we've got to fix the quality of balls into the strikers before we make Patterson the latest in a long line of scapegoats.Youe got to look back to the DJ era to see a return expected of a strikers.

Could you not say the same for Murphy, then? He may not be a striker, but he’s an attacking player and needs service.
Paterson is a square peg in a round hole and if we do actually get promoted, then having him lead the line will make us a laughing stock.
