I can’t see us catching Forest, after tonight they play Stoke and Barnsley, they’re two points ahead with a superior goal difference, so Forest win has got to best for us, surely? Brentford also play Barnsley and Stoke in their last two games, so, barring a big West Brom slip up, it’ll be sixth vs Brentford, hopefully it’s us.

I think Brentford are quality, I'd rather face west brom at the moment as Brentford are on fire.

that said I wouldn't rule out an upset against Preston. Brentford will have all of the ball and Preston will try to be direct and counter attack

I’d prefer to meet Forest over two legs and beat the Jacks in the Final to avoid Brentford and Fulham but I can’t see it happening!

    Happy for forest to win.

Forest win. Would be nice to think forest would have been involved and two spaces up for grabs but given matches left I think we are better served not having Swansea pick up anything.

Same here, we are only in contention for sixth place I feel and so I want the result that gives us the best chance of doing that.

No wonder you can’t see it happening... It’s an impossibility 🤪

I would be too. Interesting that Harris (in post Derby press conference) said he was hoping for a Forest-Swansea draw!

Think we just need to focus on securing 6th. Forest win would help.

Forest win is the safest bet. It leaves only Millwall in the running, and alleviates that pressure of them lot making it at our expense.

Forest win or a draw would be good, a Swansea win would not be ideal! I would rather we caught Forest just to avoid Brentford but making sure we get into the top 6 has to be the priority!

    I’ve got Millwall as favourites

It’s going to be hard, Millwall have 2 fairly easy games, QPR away, and Huddersfield at home. You gotta say that’s 6 points.

So we need 4 points, plus keep our 1 goal advantage.

    Can’t see it myself

    Was he just being diplomatic?

You don't see us getting 4 points vs Hull (Hull!) and Boro? Millwall aren't guaranteed to get 6 points, far from it. They're not that good, they lost to Boro last week.

If we play Brentford over two legs in the playoffs, we might as well not bother! We have to try to get 5th.

I agree but I've not given up hope of Brentford going up automatically

Forest for me. One less team to worry about. It's going to require something really special to get past Brentford or Fulham. I don't really think finishing 5th does us any favors.

West Brom have to slip up again and Brentford have got to win 3 straight, it's unlikely I'd say. They've got Huddersfield and QPR, the opposite of Millwall's as chance would have it.

We can beat Fulham over two legs, they don't score enough goals. We can't keep up with Brentford for 180 minutes.
