Thread: Premier League: Final Day

    Premier League: Final Day

    All games ko at 4pm.

Two from Bournemouth, Watford and Villa to go down.

A couple of couple of European bits to sort as well.

The three teams playing against the relegation candidates look big prices to me. An Arsenal, Everton and West Ham treble pays 12/1.

That win last week over arsenal has saved them I think. I’d rather Watford sink

Watford 2-0 down at Arsenal, Bournemouth 1-0 up at Everton.

What a weird footballing decision to sack Pearson who whilst at Watford had shown they could the bigger clubs with their wins against Liverpool and United.

They’ve been drowning in goals conceded recently though.

The reaction since then says the players feel the same way about Pearson's dismissal.

A bit more hope for them though as Everton have just equalised against Bournemouth.

Palace losing yet again against Spurs.

    Edit Everton 1 Bournemouth 2.

West Ham v Villa, must be on BT

That’s if anyone is watching it

I could well being unfair to both teams but I always envisaged a West Germany v Austria 1982 World Cup scenario being played out.

    Re: Premier League: Final Day

    Arsenal 3 - 2 Watford

    Re: Premier League: Final Day

    Leicester 0 - 1 Man Utd

Leicester need two goals or miss out on CL

    Re: Premier League: Final Day

    around 70 mins played

    Arsenal 3 - 2 Watford
    Everton 1 - 2 Bournemouth
    Wets Ham 0 - 0 Villa

    As it stands

    Villa 35 pts
    ---------
    Bournemouth 34
    Watford 34
    Norwich 21

Villa will drop below Bournemouth if West Ham score. Watford would climb above Bournemouth and Villa if they score twice.

...watching...West Ham not exerting themselves....had a gilt edged chance early in the game when Antonio really should have scored....second half Villa (unfortunately) look the more likely....

Not really. And Villa's goal was an absolute howler by Fabianski reminiscent of the goal Smithies conceded at Gillingham in the FA Cup.

FT: Villa 1 - 1 draw at West Ham.

Bournemouth relegated. Watford 2 mins away from going down unless they score twice

    Had to be Grealish too
Although if we don't get promoted I'd rather we played Watford next year.
