Shame he could have made his mark next season

    Re: Danny ward is off

Looks like it's no more than speculation at the moment, but it seems feasible to me - I would have thought there'd be a few clubs from the Lancashire/Yorkshire area interested in him because that's where he's played the large majority of his football.

    I like Danny Ward

Gives 100% and deserves a shot at starting regular somewhere, but I don't know if it's just our style of play or he's not good enough, but I just don't see him as a starter here.

If he does go, best of luck to him

I like him but all to often an injury around the corner and rarely impresses from the start. We need better so an easy cut back to be made.

    Not much to add.

A few goals as substitute don't mask the fact that he was pretty inept as a starter.

In fact, none of our strikers did much of a job when starting games.

We need a lot better if we want to go up next season.

Yep. I'd include Paterson and Glatzel in that as well.

I hope Harris having been a striker himself goes for a partnership up front like the good old days, where most teams had two up top with a good understanding of each others game.

Doubtful. Few teams do that nowadays as 3 in centre midfield is the norm.

Personally I prefer he stays, however if he's off they according to Transfer Mrkt we can get Cauley Woodrow, James Collins & Yakau Meite for £5.5M the lot (yeah right!). 41 goals between them last season.

Did they invent the ‘before the game get together?’

I rate him. Folk are saying he was only useful coming on as a sub, but that was mainly due to Warnock and to a lesser degree Harris, wanting to start with a target man, ie Paterson, Zohore and Glatzel. Personally I think he's a better goalscorer than any of those 3
