Didn't realise he did a lot of purple , whitesnake.......when they were a proper rock blues band .....rainbow etc

I draw the line at who produced the music of some of the bands I listened to although I was aware that Martin the headmaster birch was involved with iron maiden , who I don't like
Rainbow , purple , whitesnake I still listen to but these days I am more concerned about the music of tool meshuggah, opeth etc and apart from a cursory glance I am not bothered who produced them
A lot of the bands I listen to these days produce their own music
Tool for example are produced and engineered by Adam Jones, the bands guitarist
