    Danny Ward

    Signed for the Terriers.
Not sure about this one. On his day Ward scored some important goals but was injured too often.
Super sub probably suits him more than regular starter.
Having said that, he's back in Yorkshire with his family so he might just prove me wrong.

He never let us down. A bit like Pilks.

And so will always be fondly remembered here, I’m sure.

Don’t think that he was ever given a lengthy spell in the team to shine. Can definitely score & I think City should have/could have used him more. Probably hit a hat trick against us! Better than some that we have had playing up top.

Agreed - and a good comparison.

    Great fox in the box

Wish we had kept him but it seems he wanted to be back home

I'd say the same for his goal against the wurzels a few weeks back - made a far from straightforward finish look simple.

Best of luck to him at Huddersfield.

last season 8 goals out of 33 games so getting on for prolific for a CCFC striker these days. No idea about the stats but I'd say his conversion of chances to goals would be high. Good luck to him.

He was the best striker we had who could hang on the shoulder of the last defender, and know exactly when to make a run in behind.
Never understood why Warnock would constantly pick Paterson in that position when he wasnt as good.
