Because on paper the looked a top 6 squad last season but for whatever reasons did not play like it until the new manager came in.They looked good at the back end though and got some really good results.I guess the bookies feel they will continue in the same vein this season and for what its worth so do I,hence the short odds.
Perhaps, but Boro are a busted flush, even with Warnock. Top half an achievement, I reckon.
As for Stoke, mine was just a gut instinct based on how they ended the season. A good start might set them up and their first 6 games give them an opportunity to start well.
So how did you do?
I had a mare. Derby play-off place and Barnsley to go down
I see a few of us had Forest to do well too.
Every season we seem to have quite a few fans who say Forest are going to do well. Reality is that they've not finished in the top 6 since Dave Jones was our manager. This season marks the 6th season in the last 10 years where they've finished in the bottom half. Last season's 7th place finish was the closest they've got, where they somehow contrived to make a complete hash of the end of the season.
