Thread: Salzburg v Liverpool

    Salzburg v Liverpool

Anybody watching? Neco William starting in a very strong Liverpool side. It will be interesting to see what Giggs does in the upcoming international fixtures.

I think he needs to go on loan somewhere, maybe to a championship club with no rightbacks.

It's interesting watching arguably the best team in the world, with just a single video camera placed on the halfway line (and another for closeups). They don't look like the same side who appear on match of the day!

    Does it begin with 'C'?

No chance he will go on loan. He's Robertson's back up.
Talking of loans- nice to see Brewster stake a claim to staying at Anfield.

Is he any good and has he played for Wales yet?

He's good enough to start cup games and the odd dead rubber Premier League game for Liverpool and he's considered Trent AA's number 1 backup so yes! Hasn't played for Wales yet, I hopebe he gets enough games this season for Liverpool because he's definitely our future RB.

He's in a tricky position there though in that he's too good to go out on loan but the player he's deputising is so good he's never going to be dropped

He's a converted winger, still young (19), and is now establishing himself as regular member of the Liverpool 1st team matchday squad. I have a feeling that we may see him in action for Wales pretty soon, as he is an exciting talent and probably better than Roberts going forward. Him and Brooks on the right could be a very interesting combination.

No he's not, they've just spent £12m on his back up...

Williams is a right back, and understudy to TAA. As they are both converted wingers there has been talk of playing them both on the right hand side at the same. I'm not sure how it would work, but maybe we will see it at some point in the future?

I think he’ll get most fa cup and league cup games and be close to double figures including appearances off the bench in the PL. I’d be very surprised (assuming no injuries) if he isn’t starting in Baku.

Gunter’s hopes of starting probably ended with the year delay and Roberts isn’t particularly good. I’m not sure Williams will have to play more than 20 odd games in all competitions to force his way into the starting line up for at least a few of the games.

Neeco is starting again in a strong Liverpool XI v Salzburg, I don't know where TAA is?

Liverpool 2-0 down after 13 minutes, the season starts on Saturday. They will be favourites to go down at this rate.

They're actually playing Saltzberg, who are a good side.

    They played Stuttgart on saturday

It's a beautiful area where they are playing, some fans climbed up the trees during the last game!

He's the best number 76 in Britain.

Surely you are not comparing a 24 with a 76?

Yeah, just looked on Twitter and it's true, so he must be crap. Klopp doesn't know what he is doing. #KloppOut
