It's like watching the lower reaches of the Welsh League Division Two, except not as good.
I have no objection to women's football, just don't try to tell me it's on the same level as the mens.

    Nobody has ever said that.
Personally I fond the top level womens football - world cup etc far more entertaining than lower league mens
Yes a non league mens team would probably beat any womens team, but thats not the point.

yes I know about that, but it has no bearing at all on how entertaining or not women's football is

Women's football always seems so bland and uninteresting to me. I watched Maine Road v Squires Gate in the extra qualifying round of the fa cup on BBC iPlayer last night and found it more entertaining than any women's game I've ever seen (although I admittedly don't last the distance if there's one on tv). Nothing against it, I just don't want to watch it.
Going back to last night's game, the commentators said it would have gone on for hours in the Premier because the tackling was so competitive, top pros would have spent all evening rolling around on the floor feigning injury.

It's never going to be even remotely as physical or technically as good as the men's game but it is improving at the top level.

One thing that rarely improves is the goalkeeping, not even talking about average height, but the sheer amount of flapping and mis judging the flight of the ball. Hope Solo apart who I don't think ever did anything wrong

    some skill on display here.
the women's game is entertaining, more so for me than a load of old non league cloggers but each to their own.
you do have to re educate yourself while watching it though, it has a different pace and flow to the men's game so if you're expecting the same thing it can take a while to get used to it.

similar to men's and women's tennis, once you're used to the women's game it's just as exciting as the men's
