Mrs trying to convince me to use it @ Asda

you should ask this question after giving it a go for a few months

Used it a few times, it's ok and has saved us time but it's sometimes a bit of a lottery of what they can find, sometimes some quite basic items aren't there when you pick it up. Similar to the delivery.

Never used it, I’d be wary of the loose fruit and veg, I’d rather choose that myself. I s’pose you could still go out to shop for that but it sort of defeats the object.

Because, strangely, going shopping is a social event for some people. I'm amazed when i see whole Families walking the aisle together, staring at pasties. Even more annoying are the 'Couples' who are really into it, discussing way to loudly what they're going to have for dinner on Wednesday-Hell, swallow me up-Then there's the punters who are so hungry that they hover about the reduced rack, then jostle like seagulls outside a seaside town chip shop, on a bank holiday, when the produce arrives.

    Re: Click and Collect shopping

We get a weekly Tesco delivery now. I use to enjoy a wander round the supermarket but I can't be arsed with it now for a weekly shop.

I only go in now for smaller shops (mostly grabbing that days tea and a few cans). I tried click and collect which was OK but why go to that bother when they bring it to your door.

In fairness the products delivered the past month by Tesco have been fine.

Unhappy Re: Click and Collect shopping

I've done it, often the sell by date is pretty close on some items though

its brilliant, have been using asda click and collect weekly since lockdown and collect it in my lunch hour. You select a date and time a tand you click the app when yoi leave your house and its brought straight out.

anything they substitute (like for like) or if anything has a poor date on it or say fruit your not happy with, click on the app and you pretty much get an instant refund.

But that will usually be due to the fact that those are the best sell by dates available in the store.
