Yup, and keeping people poor, which contributes hugely towards profit and exploitation. I've always wondered whether a huge worldwide programme that forced countries into lifting people out of poverty, with fantastic health care and Education provision, living standards etc would contribute massively towards improving our chances against the destruction of the planet. Put people in a position where they have the power and intelligence to make informed decisions and counter government policy.

Absolutely......global warming 9aka now climate change) is the biggest con in history. There IS no global warming since records. There are LESS natural disasters than previous years. How can they say 1 in 8 species facing extinction when they don't even know how many species there are. DO you realise how they gauge that??
The planet is fine - it has ALWAYS changed over the millennia.

during any of the previous peaks the earth didn't have to support 7.5 billion + humans and their livestock.
but that is just it......it has made no discernible difference to the temperature. Over population is the biggest threat. Shortages of food/water/essential minerals. Mind you Earth does seem to adjust its population from time to time by one means or another.....
Well it's probably not going to be discernible on a million year scale.
You haven't fully understood climate change, and why this change is different from previous temperature increases.
