Does anybody in charge ever step back and think how bonkers this has now become, especially with the added complications of COVID?. Guess not - too blinded by ideology, and the fear of the backlash of not Getting Brexit Done.
I think Johnson will get his deal anyway. After all, he can then just renege on it later, to roars of approval from the "stick it to the EU" brigade.
