I wouldnt mind putting Charlatans in that pot ( which might or might not have been melting ), tellin stories was a great CD, yes Tellin stories was a little later than the madchecter scene

Saw 'em live at Newport Centre 1991 Great night although it was little hazy at the time........

Anybody go to the Rollercoaster tour at the ice rink in Cardiff year later

Jesus and the Mary Chain, Dinosaur Jr, My Bloody Valentine and a little known band at the time called Blur

    That was a good night

loved jmc, dinosaur Jr and my bloody valentine

I like hard Rock and metal but indie bands who come out with walls of noise and big guitar sounds I can appreciate

Loveless in particular is a great album

Never liked blur , only song I liked was Tracy jacks

Seen the Inspirals several times over the years - TJ's, Newport Centre, Cardiff Uni, Tramshed (without Tom Hingley)
    They never disappoint.
