If he could have been stricter on himself with diet and going out he could have made a very successful Premier League career for himself

All of the attributes technically but let himself down mentally as so many do.

It does. So does he, most likely.

Hard to believe he is now 34. (That's his age not his waist size!). But he does look trim in that photo.

I remember seeing lots of wrens all dressed in their army uniform- very nice. I think it was the season they went bust. The return game at NP was their last ever. Everyone knew it, so was a bit of an occasion if I remember rightly.

WRENs were Royal Navy, Aldershot was a garrison town (not sure if it still is).

Was always Chopras understudy. Decent player just didn’t have the minerals.

I always thought he offered more than the Chopra we signed permanently for a second time - both of them were a handful to manage apparently, so it's hard to see that Dave Jones favoured Chops on that score. McCormack was definitely the best attacking player in the Championship for a while in my opinion, but I think it's a fact that none pf the sides he played for ever won anything in terms of promotion and I'm not sure if, us apart, he ever made it to the Play Offs.
