Not playing by the rules, but Royal Blood are drum and bass guitar duo and the massive sound he gets from his bass rig is unreal. They sound like a three piece.

One of mine too. I always kinda hoped Paul Rodgers would make an album with Robin Trower, especially as rodgers has consistently surrounded himself with the best guitarists there are (Koss, Mick Ralphs, Jimmy Page for three). Ah well, it ain't gonna happen....

Rory Gallagher was amazing. I saw Taste at a gig at Barry Memorial Hall in 1969 supported by another 3 piece band Groundhogs. A great night.
