You're a bit keen, young Michael. It's only Wednesday afternoon now.

Yeah - Very keen - Not looked at the fixture list much and got a bit excited thinking there was some mid-week footy going down - disappointed now.

You can't fault his optimism though. I'm resigning myself to Covid reducing football to more repeats of the 2016 Euros come Saturday but Mike dares to dream, he's inspirational.

But there again, I'm wearing my lucky top. 4-3 City in a classic late win? Maybe.

Bennett and Ralls injured? Flint 'surplus to requirements'? Paterson practicing kissing an Owls badge?

Re: CARDIFF CITY v READING. Match thread

Cunningham looked some way short of full match fitness for the Under 23s on Tuesday.

I see Murphy is back as well, but, unless he's injured, Paterson's absence given the versatility which makes him a natural for the subs bench is going to lead to speculation that he is on the move within the next few days.

I've e-mailed the club four times since I was denied the chance to watch the Sheffield Wednesday match and phoned them three times where I was prompted to leave a message. The only response I've had from them was a short e-mail saying I am not subscribed to watch games despite me having received and redeemed the voucher I applied for as a 20/21 season ticket holder.

I'm still not being let in, so, once again, I'm effectively paying a tenner to listen to the game on Radio Wales!

Very heavy shadow on grandstand side of the pitch...difficult to see that half of the field.

Paterson on verge of signing for Weds.

Who gets sacked first, the Forest manager or the Derby manager?

Doing very well. As for the rest of it, pretty tame so far. I'll be glad when the sun sets behind the grandstand. I can barely see what's happening for much of the time.

Ojo looking bright, but surely if we want to cross the ball in for Kieffer we'd be better off with out and out wingers rather than having them cut in?
