Harris - A Poundland Warnock, get him out!

Neil Harris is a terrible manager, a Poundland Warnock.

This team not only look clueless and boring to watch, but they seem to have no desire.

Some may say Harris did a good job last season, getting us in the Playoffs. But, even though Warnock made a few bum signings, that was a squad easily good enough to be in the top six, at this level.

Five of our last six performances under Harris, have been absolute dross.

The only decent one was the win at Fulham, who were there for the taking without Mitrovic. We may even have beaten them, if he hadn't picked Pack in both games.

Four defeats, including embarrassingly being hammered 3-0 at Northampton, when we had a match day squad of over £35 million. I doubt the Northampton squad, was worth a million in total.

We were awful at Forest, apart from 15 minutes and two goals from set pieces. That against a Forest side who have continued their freefall from last season, and can't get a point anywhere.

Harris is terrible in the transfer market, he can't attract or bring in any decent players.

This squad is now unquestionably much, much weaker, than last season.

We've lost Ward, Etheridge, NML and now it looks like Patterson is on his way.

We should be moving on the real deadwood like Glatzel, Whyte, and Pack.

And why give Tomlin a new contract? Yes, he's a good player who can spark something. But after being here for three years, all that's being discussed every week is whether he'll be fit, or can he last 90 minutes. I'd rather the decent wage he earns, be spent on a player you can build a team around who'll play week in, week out.

And whilst it was good to get Moore in, all his other signings have been poor, or dreadful. Sanderson and Smith, last season. This season Osei-Tuto (too small and light weight) and Ojo, neither of who add anything to the squad, let alone the starting 11. The right side, is now so weak.

Show some confidence in Murphy, and give him a run of six games to bed in the team and see what he can do. It's no good giving him a few minutes, here and there. He has far more ability than Ojo, who is one of a number of players in the side who look totally dis-interested. Ojo has bounced around a number of teams without ever achieving a thing, we're seeing why.

The squad Harris inherited last season, helped disguise how poor a coach he is.

    To see what decent coaches can do with limited squads;

Millwall have come on leaps and bounds, since Rowatt replaced Harris. Took them from looking like going down, to almost making the Playoffs, and started well again this season.

Also, down the road at Swansea, look at the excellent job Cooper is doing.

Swansea pretty much sold all their best players last season, other than Ayew. Yet, with no money he crafted a good side with a couple of quality loan signings, like Brewster and Gallagher. They did as well as us last year, in making the Playoffs. And whilst we at times had £20 million plus of players on the bench, Cooper had to make do with a number of kids from the academy.

This season again, Cooper's brought in a couple of low keys signings, and are unbeaten after three games and playing well.

As I've said in post's about Harris previously, who can have any belief in a manager who call's Ralls a 'Superstar', and Glatzel 'One of the best finishers I've ever worked with.'

Anyone who makes those two statements, is clueless!

As Harris dismantles the squad and replaces them with more and more poor quality limited players, there's no chance we'll make the Playoffs again under him, let alone ever get promoted.

You've started three threads on here - one in January, one in July, and this one today. All of them have had the subject of Harris being a "Poundland Neil Warnock". You need to get some new material.

The lack of desire was noticable today. I don't know what that's all about.

    "Poundland" is a dollar-store expression.

It’s pretty juvenile to call for the manager’s head a few games on from almost reaching the play off final.

Never liked him, predicted we would struggle and havent seen anything to suggest he is anything than a lower end championship manager.

You only had to see Millwall improve after he left.
