    A little historical home form

What has Neil Warnock and Ben Watts-Jones got in common? They are the only two Cardiff managers who have lost 4 games at home in a row. Watts-Jones lost 5 of his first 6 home games, the losing streak occuring between games 3-6.

There are only a few other occasions where we've lost 3 on the trot, so Neil Harris is on the brink of being a part of a very select membership when we face Bournemouth. Somewhat ironically, Neil Warnock's Middlesbrough could be the side to inflict 5 defeats on the trot at home and give Harris the club's all-time record.

We've got a long way to go to managing 9 without a win, set between the last game of the 1988-89 season and the first 8 games of the 1989-90 campaign, where we would also manage 7 without a win in the new year.

    Thanks for nothing Eric.

In mitigation, currently 'home' advantage isn't what it used to be.

We have no home ,we're a lost tribe of home fans drifting aimlessly between streaming games , preying for our homecoming , and rightfully seat at the table that's is our stadium ,when will our time come to feast once again on our hallowed turf.

You aren't supposed to eat the turf
