what a great bunch of people, have just brought my old dear from a consultants appointment , by ambulance , with all this covid going on
A world class cardiac facility
The heath would be far better if it was moved up onto the M4 for easy access

I had a bad accident a few years ago and ended up in Morriston hospital the care from them was outstanding.
The filipino nurses were brilliant nothing was any trouble for them.
Took my youngest there when he had a burn on a camping trip about 5 years ago. Staff were awesome
I think its important that the main urban centres of south wales , cardiff and Swansea, share out specialities
It seems that Cardiff is set to be a major trauma centre and it seems right that Swansea specialises in burns , cardiology
Some people moan about having to go to Swansea but its only 35 minutes from me and for many people in Swansea and West Wales they have had to make the trip to Cardiff for many years
Its easy access as well , which cannot be said for the heath or llandough
Wonderful people, not only the medics, but the folks in the canteen, security staff etc as well.Spent 5 weeks travelling there every day a few years back, the journey is easy enough, the hospital is right by the M4, some of the surgeons there are world renowned.
Slightly off topic. Does anyone find the level off driving seems to take a dramatic downturn once you get to Port Talbot. I'm not sure the lack of a proper motorway might be the issue but recently I've been down that way a few times and has been frustrating each time.
My brother had a nasty leg break three years ago playing football and was moved from the Royal Glam to Morriston on the Saturday night and they were great. He required a skin graft and also had his post op recovery there. It's very easy to get to which I didn't realise. He's managed to make a comeback in the amateur leagues at 36 too, so his leg is probably better now than before he went in!
