Is what it is, both teams experimenting, empty stadium, friendly etc..... still us against them though and still want to win it.

And that’s why I hate internationals and our players playing in them.

Haven't we got anyone better than Conor Roberts? Lucky to stay on there!

Neco Williams probably but he's on at winger. Other than that challenge Roberts hasn't done too much wrong, not that anyone could have, been very much a friendly.

    Conner Roberts is pure Arse-Piss.

The comentator over here just said England are good value for their lead. They've had the same number of shots as us, less possession, and fewer passes.

Re: ENGLAND v WALES. Match thread

There's no half time analysis on ESPN+, just replaying the goal over and over. The defending is shocking obviously, but Hennessey could have done better too.

Re: ENGLAND v WALES. Match thread

We've done ok, especially considering that none of our team would get anywhere near their side.
The england formation isn't working for them and that's a lot to do with our pressing.

    I disagree. He's like a headless chicken.

Mepham is playing himself out of the Wales team.

That's the tightest Mepham has been to another player all night. Shame it was a teammate and not Coady.

Grealish gave Ampadu a bit of a schooling.
    Couldn't get near him.

This could get embarrassing. Not many are coming out of this with much credit.

It's like watching an under 23 match.

I didn't see anything from Ampadu today to suggest he's good enough for Chelsea. Or any EPL team.

No Ramsey, Bale, Brooks, Wilson, Allen... I thought it would be worse than it has to be honest.

Aside from the obvious outfield players... Do we really not have anyone else in goal that could be brought in for a game like this? Is there nobody younger that can do a job? If not, it's very worrying. Whatever happened to Danny Ward? Did he just decide to make a lot of money by sitting on benches for his whole career? I had high hopes for him coming through for Wales...

Losing Moore definitely caused us problems with the shape and plan. Ramsey and Allan would have made a difference at both ends.

I think it's harsh to judge some of these players when we're missing so much of our usual key players. Ampadu is chasing shadows partly because he's completely exposed. This is a really pointless game for both sides.
