Took my Wife there about 5 years ago with my Mam and Dad just before my Mam passed away and it was just as I remembered it...drizzling and absolutely lovely.

Saundersfoot for me but also enjoyed Crickhowell aswell. I was due to go to Conwy on the 5th of this month but cancelled because of Covid.

Garfish are always a good indicator of clean water. As an aside, their bones turn green when cooked.

It may be tongue in cheek, but it's certainly not a piss take.Screen Shot 2020-10-18 at 10.11.47 AM.jpg

    Nice pic.
Blue flag beach too. A lot better than I remember as a kid.

I work & stay all around Wales and would say that Conwy, Llandudno & Llangollen are up there. Porthmadog is also one of my favourites..... nice curry house & a bookies! !

For quaintness, there a village east of Porthmadog, Beddgelert, which is smart.

In the south, I would recommend Narberth & Crickhowell.

Rhyl, Prestatyn & Merthyr all all pretty dire though.
