Bennetts twitter feed shows him back in training and if Cunninghams is a hamstring I would guess 3 to 5 (unless it is a really bad one).

So it doesn't look as though it would be 10 weeks just a couple.

Even so it could be a case like Gary Bell in the 60's. If my memory is right after the debacle mentioned briefly in your book when Palace thrashed us 4-0 at Ninian (we were lucky to score 0!!!),Bell replaced Ferguson at left back.I remember at the time my Dad and others thought Ferguson would be back after a short time, I don't think he played for us again.

We have got to give young players a chance sometime.
