Every time I go there I try to imagine how many houses they demolished to build it? From the size of the 2 bits that are left it must have been half the town.

Ok , i am a bit biased but it is a town that really wants to be in Sussex or Surrey and very much looks down on its big brother on the coast. Not to mention how much that new farm shop off the A48 charges for the stuff on sale.

cowbridge is quite clearly not the worst town in wales
its bloody dreadful , the snobbery of many of the residents towards Bridgend, Llantwit, which I think is a great town and Barry is unbelievable
If you go on one of the social media sites about the town you will find complaints about immigration , being surrounded by socialists etc , oh we don't want social housing built here , that's for Barry or Bridgend

Some good people living there , loads of bluebirds fans but your average Cowbridge resident is a right wing , money obsessed , fox hunting supporting , tory voting type who as you say should be living in Surrey
The town itself is crap , crap pubs , crap places to eat , gridlocked

Not much crime , heavy cocaine use and good schools though
