not my scene but loved this tune from splitz end at a time when the 2 tone / skin and punk movement was high on the agenda

Loved Woodface. But strangely never bothered with any of their other stuff. I have never heard and don't even know the names of any other Crowded House records.

oh the memories .......
Wow. Never seen either of those.
‘Temple of Low Men’ and ‘Together Alone’ are superb Crowded House albums.
The standout single from the us ‘Don’t Dream It’s Over’. Split Enz did the amazing ‘I Got You’. These are two of my all-time favourite tracks.
Loved this, still do;-

Crowded House were an improvement on Split Enz though in my opinion - the Finn brothers' relationship was quite an interesting one if I remember rightly!
Its only natural is a great song.
Some great harmonies and luuurvely riff underpinning the whole song.
Crowded House had hit after hit but were probably a bit mainstream to be classed in the "one of the greats" section.
Good shout OP and what a backdrop.
Saw Tim Finn do a short lunchtime acoustic set in Our Price in about '89. He got it on with Greta Scacchi back in the day (the spawny git) but she wasn't there; maybe she was looking around Rumbelows.
Crowded House are still going - should've played Cardiff in the summer. Their more recent stuff still has its moments - Saturday Sun is a great song.
Dust from a distant sun
I don't pretend to know what you want
But I offer love.
