Thread: Marcus Rashford

    Marcus Rashford

What an absolute top young lad, I wonder if he has a future in politics, to be this involved and making a real difference to families in a time of crisis, putting the government to shame and at such a young age, a truly impressive man.

He really is a great advert for young footballers to follow.

He’s class. He’s got councils and businesses and football clubs across the country coming together to ensure kids are being fed during half term. Putting the government to shame.

Yes, and the fact MPs voted against what the common man was supporting is scandalous

Can't believe what I'm seeing on twitter... People accusing him of being a grandstander and glory hunter etc.. and then slagging off the families of children who get free school meals.

    Ridiculous.

He's a top top young man. Hats off to him.

Couldnt agree more. I honestly thought this would get voted in with ease. How foolish of me to think the majority of our MPs might have had an ounce of compassion.

Wasn't the post trying to understand the reasons why people really dislike him though rather than your suggestion that there is some kind of moral compulsion to like him?

What’s there not to like about a young man trying to do his best to make life a little better for poor and impoverished children?

Tory MPs: Footballers need to do their bit in this pandemic.

Marcus Rashford: Feed poor and hungry children.

Tory MPs: Stick to football Marcus
