But as I understand it part of the charge is that he arranged for or allowed Ibbotson to fly the plane in the first place when he was no licensed or qualified. Facts of which Henderson should have made himself aware.

To be honest I really don’t know but I assumed Ibbotson was qualified to fly during daylight and I think the defence would be that he flew the plane at night off his own back.

He didn't have a licence to fly for gain and I believe it is alleged that Henderson knew that as they were buddies. Also there was talk early on that the pilot for the flight was listed as Henderson on the paperwork but Ibbotson flew it.

I'm sure it will all come out. It is whether there are criminal charges directly relating to the death as a result of the verdict in this that really matters I think.
