Thread: FT: QPR 3 - 2 CARDIFF CITY. Match thread

Re: QPR v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread

What's the point sacking him with our board?

We'll bring in another dudd because he used to play for Man United or a cheap option but at least Dalman can have a good chuckle about how many shots he wants us to have during a game.

Up to this point today, 38 minutes in, we've not had one by the way.

He needs to go, this is exactly what i predicted when he took over, terrible football and either in a relegation battle or just below lower half of midtable.

Correct, we'll bring in anyone on the cheap

Surely there's a right back in the U23s or U18s?

Re: QPR v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread

We had the perfect opportunity to go in a new direction after Warnock.

Tan, Dalman, Choo and the brains trust at the City managed to employ arguably one of the more defensive and negative managers than Warnock.

Again, no point sacking him as our board don't know their arse from their elbow when it comes to football.

Picking the same 3 in midfield when it clearly didnt work a couple of days ago.

Hard to stick up for that.

Agree , would love to see Eddie Howe here but we'd end up with Eddie Izzard

Dalman even said we wanted a new type of football.

Harris was a terrible choice from the off.

    Will Vaulks is useless.

One of our best players before lockdown

    One of the worst since.

Seems to have lost his engine

Bacuna's put in one of the worst individual performances I've seen in some time, getting ruined every time their winger gets the ball

Re: QPR v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread

Bacuna is getting mullered, the winger is waltzing through as if he isn’t there.

QPR haven't won in 7 league games before today, but we turn up and hand them a 2-0 lead. What the **** is going on?

Re: QPR v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread

Difficult to know what to say after that.
On a positive note, in the unlikely event we can put pressure on their defence I think we can score. They look vulnerable.

Eddie Izzard might be a good shout. He seems intelligent enough. And has an interest in football.

No one will disagree with that. Uninspiring and unimaginative.

And yet he still has his fans who say that we play better football now. Bizarre.

Chair is a top player & Bacuna out of position. We're paying the price for not getting cover at right back.

Ralls is wasted behind the striker. He needs to play deeper in place of Vaulks and stick Tomlin or Glatzel in the hole.

Re: QPR v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread

I'm not angry (should be 3 there)

Vaulks is dreadful Ralls has been awful this season. Pack is our best player in midfield and last season he couldn't get in the side
Murphy is just a bad player and should never play again. Ojo tries but is not a player you need in a team like this.
Bacuna is awful at right back and about to get sent off Bennett is a shadow of his former self. Nelson is a League one player who has no idea with the ball and often gets caught positionally

Smithies is a player as is Morrison. Moore is trying but is surrounded by sh1t.

The tactics are awful its so slow and playing 40 yard cross field balls just allows the opposition to reorganise or in most cases take the ball and attack. Its like the worst style of Warnockball possible.

The idea is to quickly get the ball wide and swing in crosses to Moore - but we do it so slowly and Murphy cannot cross a ball and Ralls is clueless at the moment.

Things are going to get worse when lightweights like QPR can take the p1ss

Oh they put plenty of soundbites in.

I'm sure Dalman would have been the only one chuckling at how many shots he wanted per game while employing a more negative and ineffective manager than Warnock.

Almost everything they do screams having little clue about football. Asking why Marshall wasn't scoring more, changing our kit to red, not giving a new manager money because he had been stung by Malky, employing a younger Warnock clone and saying he wanted a different style of football. The board is the problem.

Would that be such a bad thing?

What I would say is if we were a team in transition then you could have half an ounce of patience but it is like the YTS kid has been given the big book of Neil Warnock tactics and is having a bash himself.
