Seen Bobby and Tommy, as a cabaret act in TITO'S, when they were starting out.

Tommy came out singing (lovely voice) and Bobby pretended to be a waiter. 30 seconds into the song, Bobby drops a tray of drinks, bedlam ensues. Great times

    RIP Bobby

    Sad news.
I'd thoroughly recommend watching him in The Cockfields on UKTV Gold with Joe Wilkinson, Sue Johnston and Diane Morgan. Brilliant comedy.

Was never really a fan of his comedy but he was excellent as Lees dad.

Didn't rate Cannon & Ball at all but they obviously brought a lot of joy to many people.

    R.I.P. Bobby

Much the same attitude as mine - did hear from someone who met him when he was appearing down here that he was a good bloke with no "front" to him at all.

    RIP
