I remember distinctly seeing the Echo billboard on the way home that day and its stuck in my mind ever since.
I could never understand why Richie was sacked/moved upstairs as the team was having a decent run. You will also remember that William's as coach, was an absolute disaster and without looking it up lost about 8 games on the trot before he was sacked.
Next question, without looking it up, who replaced William's?
