Barnsley havent lost since early Oct.
Dont fancy this game at all but City cant afford to keep losing otherwise we will be dragged into a relegation battle.
We desperately need Wilson and Tomlin to be fit.

From what I've seen of them on Quest, they counter attack swiftly and in numbers.

The fella we were linked with up front (old age, can't remember his name, begins with W), looks lively

Not confident of a result at all.

At home, we've won 3 out of the last 7 against Barnsley, though we've won the last 2. Away from home, we've won 5 of the last 6.

Since 2010, we've scored more at home to Barnsley than any other side, though they've scored more at our place than anyone bar Reading.

Alex Mowatt is the guy Barnsley are raving about(had to look it up btw).

Not sure whether that's a glass half full or half empty reply. 🤒

I think we would have upped our bid and signed Cauley Woodrow if the Harry Wilson option hadn't emerged. He's bound to score!

Think our teams morale is on the floor right now will be a difficult night against a Barnsley team who are on a roll.

I hope Bagan plays, I lik Bennett, and for sure he's better at the moment, but we need to make time to bring these playerss through

Feeling a bit negative about this I'm afraid. The negative way we have been playing since the season started (teams have sussed us out since last season), our home form, and Barnsley look good on the break. A 2-1 win for them I'm afraid

I don't feel good about this game either but hope we can scrape a draw. Long time since I thought a draw v Barnsley was good

Just to add their new manager has brought a high pressing style to Barnsley. Always fecks us up.

Apparently Barnsley have lost both full backs and striker yet have still won their last 2 games. And we're moaning.

This is officially the worst thing I've ever read on CCMB.

I like it, he puts in a lot of tackles and would offer more going forward than most

He's unbelievably lightweight, and offers next to nothing going forward apart from being fast. Confused how you've come to that analysis. If he offered more than most going forward he'd get game time, we aren't blessed with ball players.

The way we play, with inverted wingers. You can be an effective attacking option as a fullback just by being fast. All you have to do is offer the overlap all the time and bang in a cross if it comes to you.

Sorry, I'm not being purposely facetious but Whyte has shown nothing in his 20 or so appearances that he can do this.

I cant disagree with you, but surely the guy must have something with the goals he scored for Oxford and NI?
If Harris thought he was useless he would be nowhere near the squad. I can see him as a wing back with 3 at the back.
