Hear hear me too! These right wing twats or, GFCs as I call them talk about SJWs perjoratively when all they ever got on their mind is "what's in it for me?" and "who can I screw next?" hardly any doctrine to look up to!

It's people from normal backgrounds voting conservative I don't get. I know of loads of people from all walks of life - cops, painters & decorators, office types etc earning between £25k - £50k a year who vote for them when their community and it's history have struggled based on Westminster and in particular Conservative rule.

I consider myself fairly comfortable, 4 kids, wife and I have decent jobs, two nice cars (no Focus I'm not that wealthy) rent out several houses.

However, the rent has not gone up in years - because the mortgages are covered so I don't make money on it - it's an investment for my kids as I know they'll have to struggle when they leave school.

I get a weekly shop delivered for the local foodbank and it blows my mind that these things exist. I'd rather pay more tax and know people are looked after than have to donate it and delver it to households personally plus I think she's donated money from our salary to a children's and cancer charity.

I just don't get how there can be so much wealth in the country but so many people who have sod all.

    It should be fairer.

I get it that some people are lazy feral ****ers living on state handouts but not everyone is lucky enough to be a member of the royal family.

do we import petrol and diesel at all? I thought that we imported the crude and refined it here in this country in places like Milford Haven. I've never heard of petrol being imported, ever!

Just looking at RT Davies you can see he's got an additional cock on his forehead that Drakeford is missing.

    Good post that.

But tell me, whats the difference between paying extra tax and the state deciding who gets the extra, or you giving directly to your local foodbank and they get to decide who gets it?

I'd rather (local) people make the decisions, as you have done here, rather than the state, as you are much more in tune with local people and local problems.

Drakeford put us in lockdown earlier

    Made bigger decisions restricting trade

    Closed pubs

Stopped the M4 for environmental reasons

    Taxed alcohol and sugar.

I might not agree with him (I really don't) but you can't say he's missing any of those - he's put them on the line more than others

why did he? because he's not bothered about the Welsh economy - he'll just open the palm of his hand and expect Westminster to increase our block grant as is always the Welsh politicians way.

The conservatives have always had a working class vote , the Royal family lovers , no surrender , rule Brittania types and of course some people , of all classes , believe keeping a tight reign on public finances ......which the tories don't always do ......is the best way to run the country . Until they get made redundant and try and get benefits .

Drakeford was slagged off by Andrew rt Davies and other leading tories in the Welsh Parliament when he put us into lockdown , being told he was ruining the economy , taking away civil liberties

When Boris did it a few weeks later they went back under the rocks

    Total tossers

    Agreed.

You can't really complain if Drakeford does it but not when Boris does it.

Sounds good to me. Better public transport. Better hospitals.

You pay this tax when you lease a building or land over 150K or 250K.

Compared to a minimum wager who works in Morrisons, you've probably got to be pretty well off to be able to lease property out.

    I'm all for it.

Better public transport and better hospitals. In Wales ? You must be kidding. You obviously also have no idea how business (or life) exists in Wales, or anywhere else for that matter. Less tax = more investment = more jobs = more money in the economy and peoples pockets. Its common sense really, something that is severely lacking in Mark Drakeford and his cronies in Cardiff Bay. They are wasting millions of our money.

He has a much bigger and more expensive house than most folks for a start.

I don't doubt that but why compare him to Drakeford, and imply that Drakeford has f*** all? He has far more than you and I will probably ever have.

He probably has a nice big property or even two, as he hails from Carmarthenshire I suspect he needs a second home .

I note he has what he calls 'a hut' in his grounds as he admitted having to self isolate within it to protect his loved ones , if its an habitable hub I should imagine its more than a hut ,more of a sizable outside building within sizable grounds (best to call it a hut though makes him sound more like a man of the people in around Ely and Llanrumney)

Nah , I should imagine bit like the London champagne
Socialists , Mark is set fine and not far off old Andrew Davies wealth and even wealthier than some Tories.

What do you think an academic in social policy at a university earns ?

And would you say that such a person is as wealthy as a landowner ?

I compared drakeford to Andrew rt Davies because rt Davies and his opponent Paul Davies are the runners to be tory leaders should their party win the assembly elections

And compared to Andrew rt Davies, drakeford the leader people love to stay off has got pennies in the bank

You asked me how I know ? He owns property around St hillary, one of the most sought after villages I the cardiff commuter belt

That costs more than a few quid

Yes sludge, but I didn't ask you how you knew Davies was rich, I asked you how you knew that Drakeford has "F**k all"
