    It would be unfair to say Argentina were a one man team when they won the World Cup in 1986, but they would not have got remotely close to doing so without Maradona, so they were the closest thing to a one man team to win a major international competition and that's the main reason Diego Maradona is the greatest player I've seen.

    Spot on Bob. To a lesser degree, see Napoli as well. The man was a genius and had the character to drag mere mortals with him. That's the difference between him and another Argentinian genius.

    No, my admiration for Ronaldo has grown as he's got older, but I think Portugal had a very good defence and they played ninety five minutes of the Final without him.
