    Marine v Havant & Waterlooville

Just caught the end of this 2nd round tie, Marine won 1-0 with a last minute of extra time winner. But the great thing was their ground has a row of back gardens running along the touch line more or less, the cameras were zooming in on some of the houses, families having their Sunday dinner, raising their glasses to the cameras, people in the gardens watching over the fence with a drink in their hands. One bloke eating his afters with a big smile on his face with the commentator saying, “The courses just keep coming”. Hope they get a decent home draw, their neighbours might earn a few bob hiring their back gardens out FA Cup at its finest!

The commentator just said, “They went wild in the gardens”

Great stuff, if we’re going to embarrass ourselves again in the FA Cup, it wouldn’t feel quite as bad if it happened at Marine.

Thought H&W's defence was caught naval-gazing for the goal though.

Wild? They'll be livid if they go on a run... it'll be a dirty great stand they'll be gazing at.

The ground holds 3000 odd anyway, more than enough in these times I’d imagine. Couldn’t fit a temporary stand there anyway, the garden fences are that close. Better off putting fans in the back bedrooms

Mo Touray (ex-Newport and Barry, Welsh youth international) is on loan at Marine from Salford and played 120 minutes
