Former*Fulham*and Portsmouth midfielder*Papa Bouba Diop*has died at the age of 42.

Diop, who won 63 caps for Senegal, scored the goal which secured a historic 1-0 win over France in their opening FIFA World Cup match in 2002.

Not sure the cause of death but does seem to be a trend of black African footballers having issues foe and Muamba come to mind. I'm sure there was another in Spain as well.

ESPN are reporting he had ALS, not really the same as the issues Muamba and Foe had.
