The trouble for someone like Drakeford he is unaffected and not of the working class , he thinks oooh pub , oooh boooze , oooh all pissed, which is a bloody nonsense , but an easy target so he can appear strong and mask the inefficiencies of his other failing policies around education ,homelessness , and pre -covid health service , pubs have the best systems operation I've seen , and I've been in a few during Covid , shops though , dreadful .

What folk fail to grasp or care about this will hurt private owned businesses , young peoples jobs , at least 100k of folk in work , after the hit this year lots of these businesses were looking for the safety net of Xmas , he could have easily set out a rule where you can book in and out of a pub like a restaurant via a table slot , not allow entry unless via a NHS app scans , limit it to two hours, group four , those premises who broke the rules reported and closed immediately .
There's not one bit of scientific evidence that links 'lockdowns' with reductions in Covid cases. What we have is politics, not science. Politicians from whatever Country or political party are afraid of one thing - blame. They reason - probably rightly - that being blamed for the complete ruination of economies for a decade is nothing compared with having 'blood on their hands' for ignoring their medical 'advisors'. Coupled with the fact that most of the key players in the current Govt. will step down once it appears they've 'beaten. the epidemic, you can see why politicians are carrying on along the same path without deviation..
