The commentator on the coverage I was watching (Martin Tyler) thought it was a penalty after he saw the replays. So did Matthew Upson.

Alan Smith and his co-commentator said it wasn't and they are reporting on the radio this morning about it saying similar.
As I said, I rest my case.

Each side gets 2 challenges per game when they can refer to var to overturn the on field decision.
