Three Favorite Overseas Cities/Towns and Why.....

Montaione - Stunning little village in Tuscany. Quiet and beautiful.

Cape Town - So much to see and do, was there 5 days and it I wasn’t nearly enough. Robin Island, table mountain amongst a lot of other stuff to see.

Dublin - Been twice and loved the place both times. The people are always lovely.

Special shout out to Dar Es Salaam, Cagliari and Rhodes Town.

Hong Kong, before the Chinese took it back and possibly ruined it.
SAN Francisco, just has that right feel to it.
Berlin, so much recent history and great beers.

What's been ruined about Hong Kong?

Toronto - Friendly people, great sports teams, good nightlife, close to some fantastic natural scenery - and got pretty much everything I like about the united states but without the Americans

Munich - Very picturesque, feels ore authentically German than Berlin (which is also great) and the best football stadium in the world

Budapest - Great bars, feels pretty but very rustic, great sites to visit and cheap lager. Birds were fit too.

I noticed the quality of women in Budapest! Loved Toronto!

New York - Didnt think i would like it but the sheer scale blew me away
Chaing Mai - Ancient city in mountainous North Thailand, with a moat and defensive walls in the centre which contains the night life Very cool place
Gili Trawangan - Tiny island in Indonesia with a great nightlife. No motors, only bicycles and horses. Across the water on Lombock, Mount Rinjani towers above the clouds

Reykjavik must have one of the world's highest ratios of attractive:unattractive female.

A visit to any of those 3 places makes me feel like a Euro Lottery winner on my return to Merthyr.

Boston is literally the birthplace of the US, with the Sons of Liberty forming there and the Revolutionary wars starting there.

Exactly, more history in one block of Boston, than the whole of New York, but you can't educate pork

Apart from the sights, New York bored me.

Same here, the city that never sleeps, because it suffers from insomnia , as you say, "boring, compared to Boston"

As much for the surroundings/settings as the towns themselves, in Europe I'd go for:

Dingle, County Kerry; and
Calvi, Corsica.

Favourite overseas European city is currently Hamburg, but it varies.
