3-0 home win against Barnsley is Mr Whitestone’s only game with us this season

Brentford havent lost for years, and will be on a high after beating Newcastle.
Our only plus is that the players have had a rest this week so I am hoping for a less tired performance tha we saw v Norwich.
Fancy we will sneak a lucky draw after being played off the park.
    1-1

Brentford have had a rest also as mostly reserves played in their cup game.

I realise that half the team had the night off, but hopefully the other half will be knackered.
I know I'm clutching at straws as Brentford will no doubt give us a hiding.

Smithies; Bacuna, Morrison, Nelson, Bennett; Ralls, Vaulks; Ojo, Wilson, Hoilett; Glatzel.

Subs: Phillips, Benkovic, Bagan, Cunningham, Pack, Patten, Whyte, Murphy, Harris.

Two changes as Bennett and Hoilett start

Why have two left backs on the bench?

Ojo and Hoillet? Both on the left? I'd like to see how this team shapes up on the pitch.

Cunningham can play right back if needed?

I think he’d probably have been playing there for a few games by now if he could.

I can kind of understand the defensive mentality but I would have loved to see us take the game to Brentford and Mark Harris can consider himself unlucky not to make the last couple of games as we've looked a much more balanced side with him in it.

Looks like it could be a long afternoon with that lineup though its good to see Wilson starting in the middle.

I would take a point right now.

It was a suggestion hence the question mark. I’ve no idea whether he is capable of filling in there. Perhaps Harris feels he is most able to be able to fill in there if Bacuna were to get injured. Although I suspect he’d move Nelson in and bring Benkovic on in his place.

Cunningham said in commentary how horrible it is for a left back to play right back

So would I versus a team that's hasn't lost for yonks.
Wet and windy today down at CCS. Hopefully will suit us more than Brentford. Up and at them lads.

I've a feeling our players will still be at the table eating turkey. !!!

One nil down within the first 5 minutes.
