    Mostly pure guesswork

    4. Based on recent years, we,’ve definitely lost more.
    5. Away.
    6. Think we may have played Newcastle one year or they had to come down here. I can also remember us being at home to Carlisle once.

    4. We've won 28, lost 27.
    5. Home 48, away 33.
    6. Carlisle made the journey down here in 1990. Ridiculous planning! We won 3-1. We've played Newcastle 3 times around Boxing day - twice on Christmas day and once on the 27th, but never on Boxing day itself.

    6. Sunderland or maybe Hartlepool?

Can't imagine many fans making the journey, dingle men or very understanding wives.

Wasn’t the 5-0 at Brighton when Robin Friday was alleged to have shit in Mark Lawrenson’s kit bag on Boxing Day?

Yep. Fractionally further away than Lincoln, which surprised me. Didn't Rhys Weston score a ridiculous own goal there in the last seconds of a game once?

Yeah. Managed to sort of slice it while facing upfield and over his own keeper.

I was at the opposite end and it was some distance away but wasn't great live and worse when I'd got back and watched the highlights.
