Thread: FT: WYCOMBE 2 - 1 CARDIFF CITY. Match thread

Re: WYCOMBE WANDERERS v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread

While this should be a routine victory on paper over a side that hasn't won in 11 games, it may be a frustrating evening. Wycombe have only conceded more than 2 goals once all season and their last 5 defeats have all been by a single goal. After successive 0-0 draws, they've scored in 6 of their last 8 games.

Getting quite nervous about this one. Can see a 1-0 loss coming on. If so its bye bye Hatris.

A team that can’t score against a team that doesn’t concede or win.

    Sounds like a thriller already.

Radio Wales suggesting ligament damage for Morrison, so he's been pulled off.

Is that the same as getting yanked off ?

20 minutes in and already not good. You'd think we'd be able to play a bit of football against the likes of Wycombe. We're just thumping balls into (empty) channels, playing for yardage like a game of rugby.

Seems like a strange recovery technique but if it works it works.

Will we still persist with long throws without Morrison?

I thought it was Jason Bowen. Jason Perry makes much more sense.
